While New Zealand law does not impose a maximum number of directors a company can appoint, it does mandate a minimum. What is a Company Board of Directors?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company board of directors<\/a> bear substantial legal and governance duties and is deeply invested in ensuring the long-term success of a business and sustained operation. They provide strategic guidance to management in regard to the supervision, direction and operation of business activities. The board also hold legal responsibility for making decisions that serve the company\u2019s best interests. Typically the company\u2019s shareholders appoint the directors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
